Calling all beginning aerial teachers! This is a rare opportunity to focus on being the very best teacher you can be -- with a one-month intense focus on perfecting your craft.
Level 1 Born to Fly Aerial Teacher Training
---ENTIRE Born to Fly Level 1 in 4 Weeks---
Earn a 200 Hr Level 1 Born to Fly Aerial Teaching Certificate
June 1-26, 2020
Registration opens January 1, 2020
Each weekday offers a morning lecture session, an afternoon lab time, and evening practice with live students in real classes. This is the perfect blend of theory and practice all rolled into one month. We will cover all major apparatuses -- Silks, Sling, Rope, Trapeze and Hoop -- at the beginning level. By doing the training all-together like this, you will see the underlying principles of aerial, but also understand how each apparatus brings it's own character to those principles. This training is perfect for teachers of any level who want to be well-skilled as a versatile teacher, able to teach across multiple disciplines.
"As a studio owner, it's easy to find and hire teachers who are highly skilled in one area. It is rare to find teachers who can not only teach beginners well, but can teach across multiple disciplines and love teaching multiple age groups to boot! When you get done with this training, I will be ready to hire you, as I'm sure any other studio would be as well." --Rebekah Leach, owner of AerialWorks Castle Rock
INFORMATION HERE IS TENTATIVE & SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

Note about Lab Time: There are 40 hours total available for lab time over the course of the month. This time is very flexible. If you choose not to use this time, you can make it up in additional teaching hours or private lessons after the course is done. There will be days when taking a nap, resting, etc. is more important. This includes hours required through video assessment (RTAP) through the Born to Fly Teacher Program.

We have payment plans to help you budget for this important training. (And if you continue to teach at AerialWorks -- you will likely make everything back in the first year of teaching!)
